Connect wordpress site

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Navigate to Manage Website Connections

   • In the Bulkwriter dashboard, navigate to the Manage websites section from the sidebar menu.

   • You will see the Manage website connections page where you can manage your connected websites.

2. Click on Connect Website

   • On the top right corner of the page, click the Connect Website button to start the process of connecting a new website.

3. Enter Website Details

   • A dialog box will appear prompting you to enter the details of your WordPress site.

   • Fill in the following fields:

     • Website URL: Enter the URL of your WordPress site.

     • Admin Username: Enter the username of the admin account for your WordPress site.

     • Application Password: Enter the application password generated from your WordPress admin panel.

4. Generate Application Password in WordPress

   • To get the application password, go to your WordPress admin panel.

   • Navigate to Users > Profile and scroll down to the Application Passwords section.

   • Generate a new application password, copy it, and paste it into the Application Password field in Bulkwriter.

5. Connect the Website

   • After entering all the required details, click the Connect button to establish the connection between Bulkwriter and your WordPress site.

6. Verify Connection

   • Once connected, your website will appear in the list of connected websites with a status indicator showing it is connected.

   • You can now manage and publish content to this site directly from Bulkwriter.

     
     

Troubleshooting Tips

• Incorrect URL: Ensure that the website URL is correct and starts with "https://".

• Admin Credentials: Double-check that the admin username and application password are correct.

• Application Password: Make sure the application password is generated correctly from the WordPress admin panel and copied without any errors.
