Youtube Video API Key

To integrate YouTube with Bulkwriter, follow these steps to obtain an API key and configure it within the application.

Step 1: Create a New Project in Google APIs Console

1. Create a new Project:

   • Visit Google APIs Console - Create Project.

   • Enter a Project name, and choose an Organization and Location. These values can be anything you want.

   • Click Create.

Step 2: Select the Newly Created Project

2. Select your Project:

   • On the top left corner of the screen, click the dropdown to view all projects.

   • Select the newly created Project.

Step 3: Enable the YouTube API

3. Enable YouTube Data API v3:

   • In the search field below the "Welcome to the API Library" title, start typing YouTube Data API v3.

   • Click on the result that appears.

   • Click on the blue Enable button to enable the YouTube Data API v3 for your project.

Step 4: Create Credentials for the YouTube API

4. Create API Credentials:

   • Click on the Create Credentials button.

   • In the dropdown below the Which API are you using? question, select YouTube Data API v3.

   • In the dropdown below the Where will you be calling the API from? question, select Web server.

   • For What data will you be accessing?, select Public data.

   • Click the What credentials do I need? button.

   • Make a note of the API key displayed on screen and click Done.

Step 5: Add API Key to Bulkwriter Settings

5. Add API Key to Bulkwriter:

   • In Bulkwriter, go to API Settings from the sidebar menu.

   • Locate the YouTube integration section.

   • Enter the API Key you generated from the Google APIs Console into the YouTube API Key field.

   • Click the Save button to apply the settings.

Your YouTube integration is now set up and ready to use within Bulkwriter.
